Another fantastic week goes by for Elite Football Coaching with a showing to be proud of at the Oldham Athletic FC tournament, with 5 of our players being scouted and asked to attend the OAFC Academy for a 6 week trial.
Elite Football Coaching were given a tough group including Droylsden Juniors, Staybridge Celtic, Inter Cheadle, Moston Valley and Chaddy Juniors but finished their group without conceding a goal, with 4 wins a draw.
Elite FC were unlucky not to progress to the semi final missing out on goal difference by 1 goal.
Every player who played on the day was faultless
William kept another 5 clean sheets and continued to show how dependable he is even after long periods without much to do was alert enough to make the important saves when needed.
The defenders all played a massive part in our clean sheets as usual with Harry D, Ethan and Rory not just breaking up play when the opposition were on the attack but all 3 contributed massively to the team when it was our to get forward.
In midfield Harry W, Oliver and Lee showed their class, dominating every game we played and all getting in on the goal scoring.
Upfront Ralston worked for the team hard pressing high up the pitch and posing a constant threat infront of goal.
To top the day off 5 of our players have been invited down to the Oldham Athletic Academy by the academy head of recruitment.
