ELITE FC TRAINING
TEAM TRAINING FOR 2019/20 SEASON
After the Easter break there will be some slight changes made to how most of our teams train.
The changes being made will allow us to offer a better coaching environment for players to develop and will also allow for better communication between the club and parents.
Some of the changes being introduced are:
* Set coaches who will work with each team allowing them to train in their teams from u9's and above.
* The addition of a parent liaison officer in attendance at training. Allowing for better communication between the club and parents.
* The addition of a director of football, who will oversee all coaches and coaching sessions helping us meet the high standards in coaching that we aim to deliver to our parents.
* The implementation of a coaching syllabus at the foundation phase age groups (u7-u11) This will allow parents and players to know which topics their teams will be working on at training each week.
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING SESSIONS
For the 2019/20 season we will be adding strength & conditioning sessions for players at u11's & above.
Full details on these sessions will be released over the coming weeks.
Sessions will focus on helping our players become more rounded athletes and improve their fitness, flexibility, speed and strength.
From June 2019 Elite FC will be introducing a team training kit which all players will be expected to wear to each training session.
The training kit will double up as Elite FC Junior Football Clubs 2nd kit for fixtures where a clash may occur.
Training / away kits will be supplied to all players as part of their Elite FC season registration.
ELITE FC TRAINING / AWAY KIT
For the 2019/20 season Elite FC Junior Football club will need access to a 2nd kit which will be used incase of a kit clash.
This is due to teams competing in competitive fixtures needing to have numbered shirts for all games.
(meaning in case of a clash one of the teams wearing bibs will not be allowed)
For the 2019/20 season all players will be provided with a training/away kit that must be worn at all training sessions.
2019/20 SEASON REGISTRATION
Online registration for the 2019/20 season is now live on our website.
Registrations for existing Elite FC players will close at midnight on Friday 3rd May with remaining team places then being offered to players on the Elite FC Junior Football Club waiting list.
If for whatever reason your child will not be re-signing with Elite FC Junior Football Club for the 2019/20 season it would be much appreciated if you could let the club know as soon as possible to allow teams to put plans into place for the rest of the team.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP & REGISTRATION FEE'S
The Elite FC registration fee has been frozen at £60 per player.
Each players registration fee will cover player registration for the 2019/20 season, player insurance for the 2019/20 season and a training / away kit and mid layer fleece training jersey.
Monthly membership to Elite FC Junior Football Club will increase from the beginning of June to £31 pcm.
This increase of less than £1 per week is due to increases in charges for FA affiliation, increases in league fee's and our investment into better facilities for training which the club have been enjoying since October last year.
Current Grey Elite FC team kits can be reused for the 2019/20 season so long as they are in a good condition and still fit the players.
Additional kits can be purchased via our club web shop if needed.

SOCCER SCHOOL / UNDER 6'S
Over the next couple of months we will be looking to keep all of our Soccer School & under 6 team players busy as we look to move towards building our u7's teams for next season.
Current teams will be slightly adjusted and will stay that way until the end of the season when we will then be looking to place players into Elite FC u7 teams that will stay together for the next 12 months.
All u6 players at our soccer school will be offered a place on a team for the start of the new season subject to managers stepping forward to assist on match days. Coach Hannah will still be onsite on a match day but will be overseeing all teams and stepping in to manage teams when needed if team managers are not available.
The next few months will also see the introduction of lots more in house friendly fixtures between our u6 teams and friendly fixtures against other local clubs and soccer schools.
We will also look to enter some of the children into football tournaments over the summer.
For the 2019/20 season we will also be entering an u6 academy team into a local junior football league who will play up an age group as under 7's. This team will be made up of players attending our soccer school who are currently in reception at school.
Decisions on this team will not be made until the summer to allow us plenty of time to assess who we think would benefit from playing a year early against older children.
The date of Saturday 22nd June has been set for our official Elite FC end of season club presentation.
Full details regarding the presentation will be announced over over the coming days.
