ABOUT ELITE FOOTBALL COACHING ACADEMY
Elite Football Coaching's Academy Program helps talented young players bridge the gap between grassroots football and academy football.

Elite Football Coaching realise that many talented junior players are lucky enough to be spotted by scouts at an early age playing for their local grassroots teams and given opportunities to progress their game with the help of professional football clubs and academies, but for every talented footballer given the opportunity to be picked up and offered the chance to train with a professional clubs academy or development centre there are many more that are overlooked, get released or just simply develop at a later stage.

The Elite Football Coaching Academy exists to uncover these players, nurture their talents and provide them with the best possible environment and opportunities to develop and showcase their football ability.

Elite Football Coaching Academy players take part in weekly academy standard training sessions that are professionally structured to aid their development and play regular matches against the very best teams from across the region as well as professional football club academy teams.
​
At Elite Football Coaching we recognise the pressures that can be put on a young player and their family when a pro club does comes calling.
The club may not be the right place for that individual player to develop and improve or the traveling and time restraints involved due to the club not being local may cause havoc with the family life and routine.
But the worry can set in, with both parents and players thinking they may not get another chance to play at a pro club and although its not a good fit, parents feel pressured into having to take their child out of a grassroots team with their friends and accept a contract that will keep the player tied to a club that doesn't suit their family needs or the child's football development, all because of fear of missing out on a signing with a professional club. At our Elite FC Academy players can continue to play with their friends while experiencing all the benefits they would at a professional football clubs academy.

Players in our Elite Football Coaching Academy squads will be given weekly football tuition in line with that of a professional clubs academy and will be given the best possible platform for their development and for exposure to pro club scouts.
While there is no guarantee that a player will be picked up by a pro club, as long as the players continue to show a desire to improve and a good attitude towards coaches, training and matches, Elite Football Coaching will help the player to get the opportunities and exposure they deserve to help make it to the top level.

RECRUITMENT FOR ACADEMY SQUADS
Elite Football Coaching recruit players for our Academy Squads through our Player Development Centres, scouting network and open trial events.

Players who are identified by Elite Football Coaching to have the required level of ability are then invited to attend our Academy sessions and may be invited to take part in friendly fixtures against local grassroots teams.
Players who excel in these sessions and matches and show they possess exceptional talent and attitude will be offered a full time place within the Elite Football Coaching Academy Squads.
The Elite Football Coaching Academy offers the same professionalism and coaching standards offered at many professional club academies.
Similar to a professional academy, players will be expected to show good attitudes towards training and matches as well as exceptional behaviour when representing Elite Football Coaching.
